The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, better known as SUPPLYCO came into being in 1974 as a wholly Government owned initiative with an initial investment of 15 crores. The objective was to provide the essential commodities at regulated prices to the common man. Over the years SUPPLYCO has evolved to serve all strata of the society. The Labham supermarkets of yesteryears have given way to Sabari Super Market which has the latest FMCGs and finest commodities to offer. Headquartered at Kochi, it operates over 1200 retail outlets and 56 depots through 5 regional offices.

Supplyco also helps the farmers to get value for their produce like paddy and pepper. These are procured from farmers, processed and sold through Public Distribution Systems. Pepper is also procured and Supplyco will soon start selling branded pepper and pepper powder. Future plans include export of pepper products to the Middle East.
